The Hibiscus House was built in the early 1900s when Thomas Edision and Henry Ford lived just down the street. This house favors the construction and design of the Edison home – a two-story frame house with windows everywhere. Our guest rooms are spacious and bright. We have wood floors, wood walls and wood ceilings. At the historic Hibiscus House, you’ll enjoy the conveniences of today and the ambience of times gone by.
All guests room feature large, flat-screen televisions. The Periwinkle has a 54″ TV; the Jasmine, 39″ and all other guest rooms have 42″ televisions. We subscribe to Comcast which provides over 600 channels of entertainment. We also offer all the movie channels at no additional charge. All guest rooms are air conditioned and heated. We have one central unit for the upstairs rooms and a second for the first floor. We also have free off-steet parking. In addition, we provide free WiFi, bottled water and snacks. Each morning, we cook a full breakfast for all our guests.
