OUR ROOMS

The Hibiscus House was built in 1912 by William H. Dowling the owner of the once busy Dowling Lumber Co. of Slater Florida 10 miles North of Fort Myers. After Mr. Dowling death in the late 1930’s Ms. Hallie Dowling his widow had the home moved in 1946 to it’s present location. The sturdy a two-story heart-pine structor with abounding windows allowing for bright common space. Our guest rooms are spacious and like wise bright. We have hardwood floors a mix of plaster and wood walls with tongue and groove wood ceilings. At the historic Hibiscus House Bed and Breakfast, you’ll enjoy the conveniences of today and the ambience of times gone by

THE PERIWINKLE

All guests room feature large, flat-screen televisions. The Periwinkle has a 54″ TV; the Jasmine, 39″ and all other guest rooms have 42″ televisions.  All guest rooms are air conditioned and heated. We have one central unit for the upstairs rooms and a second for the first floor. We also have free off-steet parking. In addition, we provide free WiFi and bottled water. Each morning, we cook a full breakfast for all our guests.
